  • Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple welcomes to all visitors without considering beliefs, gender, race, nationality, caste and creed. However, security measures are taken and in order to provide security every visitor is being thoroughly screened.

  • There is prohibition of electronic items inside the complex such as cameras, mobile phone etc.

  • Swaminarayan Akshardham remains closed on every Monday.

Cloakroom: Possessions can be deposited inside the cloakroom however visitors can deposit their possessions on their own responsibility and risk. However, management will not be responsible for any type of loss or damage for possessions.

Visitors Centre: Overview of inside complex can be viewed if one enters in this complex through visitor’s center. Guidelines for time can be set from here in order to view numerous attractions. Waiting areas and enquiries are situated here.

Wheelchairs: Wheelchairs are also provided in this complex for the people who are physically challenged and that too on priority basis. A request is made to relatives for helping these physically challenged people for visiting the complex. Wheelchairs have to be returned back before one leaves the Swaminarayan Akshardham Complex.

Telephone Booths: There is an availability of public telephones in Visitors Center as well as in other locations of Swaminarayan Akshardham Complex.

Lost and Found Department: This department provides details for the lost possessions of persons. However, there is no responsibility of management regarding damage or loss to any kind of personal possessions.

Strictly Prohibited:
Alcohol & Smoking
Drugs, Alcohol, Tobacco and Smoking are completely prohibited inside the complex.

Mobile Phones, Cameras
Mobile Phones, Video Cameras or any type of electronic items are prohibited in the complex.

Visitors cannot carry food with themselves when they are inside the complex. However, snacks and vegetarian food are available inside the complex at Premvati Food Court. This restaurant manages various types of hot, cold, delicacies, traditional dishes.

Rude and impolite language should be avoided.
Carrying Pets is prohibited inside the complex.

In order to maintain the dignity of the complex visitors are required to wear clothes which are respectable in the society.

Winter: November to March
Weather is pleasant and mild and there are chances of cold environment so warm clothes are required.

Summer: April to June
Weather is sunny and hot so only cotton clothes are enough.

Monsoon: from July to October i.e. it is a rainy season.


Donations can be given to BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha which is working for different social causes such as spiritual upliftment, culture, medicine, social relief, environment, education and in various other departments for the upliftment of the country. Donations boxes inside the campus can be used for this charity cause or one can deposit money at reception. If one is donating money through cheque then it should be on the name of “BAPS”.
